Event Description

On Saturday November 28, renowned Christian songwriter Mia Fieldes will be teaching and leading a day of songwriting at The Park Church in Sherwood Park AB. Whether you are a seasoned or aspiring songwriter, please join us as we embark on this journey to birth worship songs for our cities and local churches. Here's a brief overview of the day:

Mia is a songwriter/worship leader originally from Sydney Australia. Having written for and performed in the album recordings released by Hillsong Church for many years, Mia moved her craft to Nashville USA where she has continued her passion to write songs that inspire people with hope and faith.

Some of the songs written by Mia include 'Christ is Risen', 'Not For A Moment', ‘Savior King’ and no. 1 radio hits 'He Knows My Name' and 'First'. Mia divides her time collaborating with some of today's top Christian artists, including: Michael W. Smith, Francesca Battistelli, Lauren Daigle, Meredith Andrews, For King & Country, Vertical Church Band, Paul Baloche, Matt Maher, Jason Crabb, Lincoln Brewster, Darlene Zschech, Kari Jobe, Blanca, One Sonic Society, Don Moen, The Desperation Band, Starfield and Moriah Peters.

Mia is the recipient both ASCAP and BMI awards for hit collaborations including "Proof Of Your Love" recorded by For King And Country" and 'Strangely Dim' recorded by Francesca Battistelli. Mia is signed to Essential and recently released her own first project 'Ashes'. She currently leads worship and serves under fellow Australians Henry and Alex Seeley at their church The Belonging co. in Nashville, TN.
